Starting confidently with Three original flavors of Tomato, Hot n' Sweet Green Chilli and Aubergine pickle, amongst Friends and Family, numerous commentators have also referred to the supposed Pickle-makers eccentric habit of touting for custom outside her establishment.
According to Mrs. Kumar, there is not a shred of evidence for any of it. She said: These legends just get passed on by hearsay and then spiral out of control. Her interest in making Pickles dates back to a history of food seminar in Delhi in the mid-1990s.
